Starting an SMM Reseller Business with the SoneBoost API
Updated:
Define the offer and its limits
A reseller business needs more than a panel script. Decide which customers you serve, which services you understand and how you will handle delays, partial delivery and refunds. Describe the actual service conditions and platform-policy risks. Revenue is not profit: supplier costs, payment fees, currency movements, support time and refunds affect the result.
Start with a small, reviewed catalogue rather than automatically publishing every available service. Record the provider service ID, price unit, minimum and maximum quantities, refill conditions and customer-facing description. Recheck costs before accepting orders because supplier prices can change.
Connect from your server
SoneBoost exposes its customer API at /api/v2. Read the API page inside your account for the current request format. Keep your API key on the server; never put it in browser JavaScript, a mobile application bundle, public source control or analytics logs. Treat it as a credential that can spend your balance.
- Verify catalogue and balance requests before enabling paid ordering.
- Map your own product IDs to the correct provider service IDs.
- Validate the destination link and quantity before submission.
- Store the returned order reference against the customer purchase.
Make retries safe
For order creation, send a unique Idempotency-Key header for each intended purchase and reuse that same key when retrying that purchase. A timeout does not prove the first request failed. Reconcile the response and saved order reference instead of blindly submitting another order with a new key. Poll status at a reasonable interval and stop once an order reaches its final state.
Launch with a controlled workflow
Test validation and error handling before authorizing paid test orders. Show clear totals and keep an audit trail without exposing credentials. Reserve funds for refunds and support. Automation can reduce repetitive work, but it does not guarantee demand, uninterrupted delivery or a particular profit margin.
